Are you analytically strong with a sense of urgency and a proven track record within project management and knowledge of maintenance systems/operations offshore? Then you are the Project Manager, Modifications we are looking for to our technical department.

As we wish to strengthen our focus on project management, we are looking for a new colleague who can join us in developing a self-driven matrix organization to deliver excellent results to our customers.

Your area of responsibility will be to coordinate and manage, on behalf of the Asset Managers (AMs), all modification and VO works being considered & approved to be conducted on the existing FPSOs, covering; project definition & establishment, engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) project phases and contracts.

Furthermore, you will assist with the commissioning work and the handover to the Operations Department ensuring that modifications are fully integrated with existing facilities. You will also ensure proper closeout of projects and conduct a structured post investment review when requested.

We are looking for a candidate that is flexible, self-driven and motivated by learning. We work in a matrix organization where initiative and empowerment is important.

Some of the things you will be doing

• Management of Modification Projects within the Operational phase for Teekays FPSOs.
• Ensure that awareness of Teekay Offshore Production’s HSE, Quality policy and business ethical standards are established and maintained throughout projects.
• Ensure that appropriate contracts are placed with Contractors and Vendors. Work with the contracting team, the engineering team, and other support services as required to ensure that cost effective & robust contracts are in place.
• Ensure that the design and construction of equipment & facilities as well as the project execution are compliant with the Clients specification, Teekay Offshore Production’s functional requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver mechanically completed pre-commissioned equipment & facilities with all related documentation.

What we are looking for

• You hold a relevant technical education on bachelor level or higher and have minimum 10 years in project management and 5 years knowledge of maintenance systems/operations offshore.
• The right candidate is someone who understands that Project Management is an important part of the value we bring to our business.
• We are looking for a candidate who is structured, analytical and a true problem solver with good communication skills.
• You are a team player but have the ability to work independently as well.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English is demanded and Norwegian language is preferable.
• You must be flexible on travels both onshore and offshore.
