Our survey department is expanding and we are looking for an Offshore - Senior Surveyor to complement our team. Job Description

• To manage the day-to-day field operations during a survey
• Plan and execute survey missions in compliance with client specification
• Quality control, monitoring data and verifying data
• Hold the overall responsibility for the fulfillment of the contractual requirements regarding recording, quality, and accuracy of field data
• Be responsible for performing the fieldwork as cost efficient as possible, taking into account the requirements of both the client and Swire Seabed
• Implement and perform procedures, plans and analysis
• Monitor and follow-up daily field operations in liaise with sub-contractors, surveyors, geologists and the processing team
• Contribute actively to the company’s procedures and instructions in conformity with improvement and development
• Participate in HSE meetings and programs, non-conformities reporting, safety observation reports etc. 

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education, including hydrograph Cat A certificate is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience with seabed mapping and inspection using hull-mounted, ROV or AUV based survey sensors
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of offshore operations
• Fluent in English, both oral and written is mandatory
• Valid Offshore medical and survival training is beneficial
