Job description Software Developer for Fraud Prevention Levels of payment card fraud are increasing at record rates, with more complex methods being used by the fraudsters. The fight against fraud requires continuous innovation. EVRY is a market leader within fraud prevention in Norway. The payment services we are protecting, the attack approaches, required response time, legislation and technology are all evolving fast. As we are growing the business we need more resources for integrating and taking care of our customers from a technical point of view. Customers can be banks, insurance companies, fintech, and others. You will be sitting with the development team in Trondheim, Norway. This team handles architecture, AI research/development, and general development. As a Software Developer, you will help with integration of new customers, implementing the AI platform, add new features to the existing platform, etc. Responsibilities Design and implement new features, including design docs, database changes including testing. Maintain and improve the performance of existing software. Clearly and regularly communicate with the team. Continuously ensure ongoing projects meet business needs. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of industry experience in software engineering. Basic algorithms Experience with developing applications and working with programming/scripting languages. Analytical mind Preferred qualifications: Understanding of MQ, SQL (MySQL, Oracle), Perl, Java, VMWare, Docker, Linux system administration, file systems, client-server protocols, network administration, continuous deployment, MyRocks / HBase / Reddis / ClickHouse / Cassandra / MongoDB
