Operations Manager Textile

We are seeking a well experienced candidate to further develop our textile suppliers mainly located in China. You will be responsible for your own supplier portfolio, new product development and potential new suppliers.

 Responsibilities

-          Ownership and daily follow-up of a defined supplier portfolio of Stokke textile products

-          The role is responsible for all technical and commercial aspects related to production and to oversee that all activities are aligned with the Stokke product strategy

-          Price negotiations with suppliers

-          Identify need for and execute 2nd source- / resource projects

-          Find & Qualify new suppliers according to Stokke sourcing strategy

-          Participate in NPD / PLM projects

-          Ownership of supplier Agreements

Qualifications

-         Minimum 5 years’ experience in an international company and environment

-         Relevant degree at Bachelor/MSc level

-         Experience with mass textile production from Chinese or European suppliers.

-         Can travel globally independently

-         Constructive challenger and strong collaborator with high work capacity

-         Good communicator

-         A strong doer that can work independently and at the same time work with a strong interdisciplinary team

-         Structured, systematic and result oriented

-         Humble but clear

-         Fluent in written and spoken English
