Supply Chain Manager
FARA is expanding internationally and seeks a highly motivated colleague to join us.
FARA, a leading supplier of IT solutions to the public transport sector, is seeking a talented, proactive and seasoned executive to become our Supply Chain Manager. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive experience within procurement, logistics and supply chain management, and excellent communications skills – internally as well as with suppliers and partners. FARA operates in a market dominated by public enterprises and private transportation companies. Understanding complex development, delivery and service processes is therefore important.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Strategic planning and development of procurement and logistics.
• Coordinate deliveries in cooperation with Sales and Project Delivery to execution.
• Optimize supplier portfolio, including securing competitiveness, volume and delivery.
• Develop and manage FARA document archive within own area, including follow-up and negotiation.
• Lead and supervise international Procurement function
• Lead and supervise Logistics and Warehouse function
• Ensure structure and processes according to QA standards.
• Quality control of goods and services within own area.
• Initiate and manage improvements in SCM processes.
• Personnel responsibility, including development and training of direct reports.
Your qualifications/experience
• Bach/ MSc of Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Required experience: Experience with procurement, logistics and supply chain management.
• Experience from public tender processes and business development
