Head of Legal - Norway

We are now looking for a Head of Legal (Norway) to join our high-performing management and organization, to help accelerate our continuing fast-paced growth.

Leadership and Responsibilities

The Head of Legal for Norway will be responsible for;

• providing practical advice and solutions across a full range of legal subject areas
• voicing commercial insights to help shape our strategy and business plans
• participating and co-leading group-wide initiatives in our growing Legal department
• developing law firm relationships and optimizing legal spend, including wherever possible through the use of innovative processes and technologies
• monitoring regulatory trends and pro-actively shaping the legal landscape
• providing relevant and useful legal training to management colleagues, and
• being a role model and mentor for our commitment to doing business with integrity.

Areas of legal work will include smart commercial contracting (customers, suppliers, sales alliances, franchisees), consumer protection and marketing, competition, data privacy, IP, real estate, tax, M&A and industry regulation.  Opportunities for personal and career development will include; learning across all aspects of business and management, including finance, technology, operations, sales and marketing; international work experience; and becoming a strategic management leader in business.

The successful candidate will have a Norwegian law degree, a strong academic record and a minimum 7 years of experience working in top-rated law firms and/or as an internal legal counsel.
