We are looking to strengthen our team of Marine Claims Adjusters who handle/adjust claims on behalf of Gard’s clients worldwide and provides advice to our clients on coverage issues and potential claims. The adjusting team is a vital part of the claims handling product we offer to our clients.
The successful candidate will have a technical, nautical, legal or other relevant background from the shipping industry, as well as previous experience from the marine insurance sector. Previous experience as a Claims Adjuster will be an advantage, but not a requirement for the position. You will have the ability to build good relationships with colleagues, members and customers, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong command of written and spoken English.
