Digitalisation Engineer - Subsea | Stavanger

Work Task:

The primary responsibility for this position is to plan and execute the digitalisation program in subsea in the Aker BP Projects Business Unit in accordance with Projects BU’ strategies and digital roadmap.

Project manage the digitalisation program for subsea, including relevant activities and use cases from other business units.

Act as Projects Business Unit’s focal point towards relevant use cases run by other business units for subsea

Align with other improvement initiatives in Projects Business Unit

Align with other improvement initiatives in the company

Attend relevant internal and external fora related to digitalization

Identify and contribute in relevant R&D activities

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience

Good understanding of multi-discipline challenges in subsea

Operational experience and familiar with industry challenges

Experience within digitalization and technology development

Competence and capability to transfer relevant new technology development experience between industries

Education:

Engineering degree
