Tender / Supply Chain Lead

We need a new Tender/Supply Chain Lead on the team at NOV Subsea Products, part of NOV Completion and Productions Solutions. You want to be part of our area of expertise for commercial competence that consists of a team of experienced and creative sales/procurement engineers. You will be part of various project/tender teams with our other engineers and project managers as well as with suppliers and customers

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate tenders and support with sales activities
• Supply chain work and development of sub-suppliers for critical components
• Follow-up of sub-supplier and send/evaluate RFQ’s during the bid stage
• Act as a supply chain package manager in the projects for identified components, and handle the procurement process
  (For multiple NOV companies within the business unit, using both Mammut and Oracle) 
• Responsible for customer interface during the bid phase with regards to bid clarifications (if applicable)
• Coordinate ITT requirements with other disciplines (ensuring bids are provided in accordance with customer’s specifications)
• Create and compile cost estimates for respective scope of work
• Review customer’s POs / Contracts and chair hand-over meeting to Project Delivery team
• Responsible for T&C’s setup towards sub-suppliers and updating the “Approved Vendor System”
• Work closely with other NOV business units
• Promote subsea products towards new and existing customers
• Assist in sales work towards selected customers in global markets when needed
• Arrange/attend customer visits and conferences and exhibits when needed
• Keeping in line with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring compliance at all times
• Ensure a high standard of professionalism is maintained when representing NOV
• Ensure personal compliance with Corporate Compliance Rules and Export Regulations
• International travel when needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree (preferably within Engineering)Subsea and/or Oil & Gas experience
• Tendering and Supply Chain experience (minimum 3 years) within Oil & Gas
• EPC projects and/or complex engineering projects
• Able to understand, evaluate and apply technical information
• Ability to obtain and develop positive relations (both with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders)
• People and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills (English and a Scandinavian language)
• Proven ability to work within tight deadlines in a complex industry
• Ability to catch opportunities across business units (including synergies between sub-suppliers agreements)
• A candid team player who collaborates with peers to solve problems
• Result oriented
• Computer literacy (including excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
