Job description and responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with the team responsible for providing expertise in accounting, financial reporting and administration of equity compensation programs to our corporate clients. We are seeking hands-on team members who also have the potential and ambition to take over and manage new responsibilities and to excel within the company.

 

Key tasks of this diverse and challenging role include:

  • Working together with team on managing our corporate clients

  • Participating in workshops with both clients and prospective clients

  • Preparation of IFRS and US GAAP compliant accounting and disclosure reports for clients share-based payment plans using EquatePyramid, our market leading financial reporting software

  • Perform administrative tasks on behalf of clients to support their broad-based equity compensation plans including direct contact with client, participants, banks and brokers

  • Valuation of instruments by option pricing models and complex Monte Carlo simulations models

  • Provide expertise in financial reporting (IFRS 2, IAS 12, IAS 33, IAS 19 and USGAAP equivalent)

  • Assist clients with financial reporting and disclosure

  • Assist with education and training of clients and internal teams

  • Assist in daily administration of clients handling the contact with clients, banks and brokers

  • Contribute to product development and coordinating input from existing and new clients

     

Depending on background, skills, interests and requirements, candidates might get involved in other tasks and responsibilities

 

Qualifications, skills & knowledge
  • Bachelor or Master degree in finance, accounting, industrial economics or related education

  • Recent graduates with strong interest in the field are encouraged to apply

  • Candidates with working experience from accounting, audit or similar relevant experience are encouraged to apply

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

  • High motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong operational, analytical and process understanding

  • Excellent Excel knowledge

  • Good organizational skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, oral and written

  • Knowledge of equity compensation programs would be an advantage

  • Knowledge of IFRS 2, IAS 12, IAS 33 or IAS 19 and/or related USGAAP standards would be an advantage
