Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering activities, including flow assurance
- Coordinate resources to execute the work, including accessing the Subsea Alliance Study group
- Right level of scope definition, robust schedule and cost estimate accuracy to reflect gate
- Work closely with FPM, PIM and Business Manager to support delivery of the business case, at the decision gate
- Manage system and technical interfaces for the scope delivery
- Application of Companys stage gate project management process
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with business drivers.
- Strict adherence to Company and Industry Standards, and identify and manage deviations to these
- Focus on integration of the Business Units in support of scope delivery
- Robust management of project risks - technical and business / commercial
- Support and drive continuous improvement across project.
- Demonstrate behaviours that promote a safe, Lean and environmentally responsible work process and outcome in all aspects of the job.
Required expertise
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering or similar technical degree
- Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry with focus on early phase development work
- Exposure to a diverse range of activities in the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Significant experience with process design
- Familiarity with project governance / decision gate requirements
- Practised in HSSE management, hazard evaluation and risk management.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Norwegian fluently.
- Demonstrable experience managing technical facilities interfaces
- Strong planning, interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills essential.
- Must have high motivation to manage the interfaces, the ability to focus on agreed deliveries, and be a team player.
- Ability to define and prioritize issues and solve problems through networking with the involved parties
- Ability to interface effectively with people of all levels, both internal and third parties.
- Good knowledge of Subsea Facility design (SURF, SPS) and integration with topsides scopes / system
