Responsibilities
- Quality for Decommissioning Projects
- Facilitate the establishment of new processes specific for decommissioning as required
- Reviews and approves quality-related procedures prepared on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program/plan
- Support and continuously improve processes and procedures
- Participate in selected improvement events
- Ensure new or revised regulatory requirements are reviewed and incorporated into the quality program/plan
- Coordinate and carry out training courses of employees OR suppliers as appropriate and planned
- Provide expert advice to on regulatory and company requirements
- Provide general QA oversight and consultancy in regards to equipment, facilities, engineering and procurement (POQR)
- Lead or support handling of non-conformances
- Lead or support Management of Change activities
- Lead or support Root-Cause and Failure Analysis
- Lead/Support project auditing and monitoring program to verify the effectiveness of the project quality program/plan and enable the timely mitigation of technical and program/project risks.
Required expertise
- University degree, minimum bachelor, preferably in an Engineering discipline
- Project management
- Lead Auditor Certification
Experience from and able to show successes from:
- Quality systems/management systems
- Quality in Projects (specially Subsea)
- Facilitations skills
- Management Systems software solutions
- Change management and implementation
- Improvement projects
- Handling of non-conformances
- Good understanding of quality assurance methods and tools (including knowledge of Inspection and test planning tools, as well as problem-solving tools)
- Strong-level of understanding/reading engineering-drawings and P&IDs;
- Experience reviewing quality documentation and auditing quality programs
- Auditing Vendors
- Experience interfacing with Suppliers, Engineering, and Sourcing to drive Quality improvements that minimize Costs of
- Quality, specifically Failed on Arrival/Install (FOA/FOI) issues and Field Failure
- Improving supplier quality performance for assigned suppliers via Quality Plan implementation.
- Supplier selection through robust qualification processes
