 Kongsberg Maritime is world leading manufacturer of equipment for most aspects of maritime operations. Our R&D department has the responsibility for developing new and innovative products within the market segments of seabed mapping, underwater positioning and underwater communications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with world class technology in these fields.

Our new Embedded SW Developer will join a strong team of devoted product and application engineers, and is expected to further strengthen our team. We deliver mission critical, real-time, high throughput processing solutions, all the way from physical hardware to topside software. We have an agile development process using Microsoft TFS software development support tools.

Main tasks

• Development of software for new and existing products
• Development of communication protocol stacks
• System testing on our research vessels

Key areas:

Embedded systems typical DSP/ microcontrollers/SoC, sensor interfacing, real time/C++, IoT for deployment on Windows, Linux and VxWorks systems.
