Senior Java Development Engineer

Job information:

• Software development
• Participate in establishing specifications and definitions of requirements
• Assist with software architecture and design
• Quality testing on developed software
• Establish test and user documentation
• Work in cooperation with the Service Delivery team to ensure high quality and timely releases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Knowledge of the Spring and GWT frameworks is a plus
• Proficient on both backend (Java/SQL) and frontend (JS/ES6/HTML5/CSS)
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and functional programming paradigms
• Experience writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
• Familiarity with a range of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Experience/strong interest within one (or more) of the following: machine learning, cloud computing, GIS
