ABB in Norway develop and deliver solutions for marine power, propulsion and automation systems. We are responsible for deliveries of electric propulsion, power and automation systems to Oil & Gas related vessels, such as LNG Carriers, Drilling vessels, and Offshore Support Vessels and Navy Vessels
ABB is looking for a dedicated Technical Sales Support Manager for our digital Solution Product Group, working with technical responsibility of our solutions to support our sales, engineering and service departments. The office location will be Billingstad.
Sales Support Manager – Digital Solution
Tasks:
- Act as technical Sales Support manager for Automation and Digital Solution
- Bid Management Automation and Digital Solution
- Responsible for principle design and maintenance Digital Solution
- Feedback local requirement to global Automation solution/library development teams.
- Participate in training of local resources (sales/engineering/commissioning).
- Acting as the main technical point of contact during bid stage, technical review, risk reviews for sales department.
- Develop necessary tools in order to minimize workload and improve bid efficiency.
- The position will be combined with, but not limited to, direct sales work, R&D participation, and developing solution requirements.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree within the area of Electrical or Automation engineering
- Experience and understanding of marine electrical systems
- Self-going, creative, proactive and team player
- Enjoy finding solutions to unforeseen problems
- Some travel activity may be expected.
