An exciting oportunity at Andromeda Group as Larvary Manager at Hatchery facility in Burriana, Spain.

The main purpose of the role is to assume ownership of the results of Larvary Departments (larvae, brood stock, weaning, rotifer, artemia), create a successful team and assist the production targets of the company.

Department:

Hatchery Section (broodstock, larvae, live feed, weaning)

Reporting to: Production Manager

We are looking for a highly committed personality with a mentality focused at achieving objectives and results, strong organizational skills, personnel management and leadership.

Some of key responsabilities include:

• Employee management, training and development
• Task allocation of the larvary and live prey departments and proper organisation of the departments works
• Proposes technical improvements of the facility responsible of warehouses and supplies
• Actively supervises the proper keeping record in database
• Submits monthly progress reports and KPIs analysis
• Quality Management, pathology and biosecurity

Main Requirements

Education

• Biology degree or other relevant university studies

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficient computer user
• Fluent in Spanish language
• Good level of English language is required
• Residence near the work center is positively valued

• Results oriented mentality
• Advanced personnel management skills
• Organisation skills
• Ownership of the results
• Team leadership skills
