Kongsberg Maritime Subsea, located in Horten is a world leading company in many fields within underwater acoustics and instrumentation. We expect increased activity in the Naval sonar group where we specialise in manufacturing sonars for littoral waters within the segments of Anti-Submarine Warfare, mine and obstacle avoidance, navigation and multipurpose surveillance.

We are looking for a qualified person who has the ability to take the Project Manager role in delivery projects, which also includes integration with third party Combat Management Systems, development of software, hardware electronics and mechanics. The position requires security clearance from Norwegian Authorities. 

Main tasks:

Project management of projects towards military customers. Contract follow-up, planning, reporting, economy control and manage project team of multidisciplinary personnel.   

Education and experience:

Higher technical education from the civilian or the military education system.

Good knowledge about project management practices. Experience from working as a project manager is an advantage.

Personal skills:

A positive attitude is highly appreciated. Structured and independent in your work. Solution oriented. Good communication skills and team oriented. Main language is Norwegian but you should master English good both verbal and in writing.
