Data Analyst

We are now looking for a Data Analyst  within our Logging & Intervention productline to analyse and interpret collected data from our well intervention operations.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

To perform data analysis/interpretation of downhole logging data in a professional manner in accordance with job scope and ALTUS Intervention procedures, ensuring the successful completion of operations and client satisfaction.

• Assist operations in analysing and reporting logging data.
• Supporting Business Development/Operations with client sales visits and analysis briefings.
• To help maintain job records and backup archive system.
• To demonstrate a commercial awareness of the cased hole business.
• Utilizing software products in the processing and analysis of data acquired as part of cased-hole interventions.
• Applying a clear and logical approach in the creation of reporting products enabling a fluent transfer of information to the client.
• Incident reporting
• Knowledge of relevant parts of client contracts.
• Participate in procedure, manual and checklist updates if required.
• Part of an on call 24/7 duty response team.

Requirements

• University degree (Master- or Bachelor level)
• Minimum 2-3 years documented skill within Cased Hole Logging service
• Strong analytical skills
• Extensively service-minded with an extrovert attitude
• Independent in the execution of responsibility
• Fluent in Norwegian and English (spoken and written)
• Very good collaboration and presentation skills
• Basic commercial understanding
• Flexible and appreciate rapid changes in job tasks
• Creative and structured, must be able to work independently as well as in teams.
