We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Technical team at Forus in the role of Facilities Engineer, supporting operation of the Balder, Ringhorne and Jotun fields. The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing processing of produced fluids from well to sales point. The job entails daily process facility surveillance, optimization, initiation of facilities improvement projects and support to general opportunity generation and field development planning. The role is cross-functional and requires close interaction with onshore and offshore operations, production and commercial teams.  Main tasks 
  • Daily process surveillance and analysis, optimization, trouble shooting and improvements
  • Proactive interface with operation team to prevent and solve site and operation issues 
  • Identify capacity enhancement opportunities and develop business cases, e.g. debottlenecking, and initiate projects  
  • Perform process engineering simulations and support project and commercial teams with field development planning 
  • Provide process engineering support to Process Safety team and Engineering & Brownfield Project team and support HAZID/HAZOP and Risk assessments 
 Qualifications 
  • Master's degree in Process Engineering or other relevant Master's degree in combination with offshore Production Process Engineering work experience 
  • 0-5 years of experience with operation of offshore producing asset 
  • Strong academic performance  
  • Good working knowledge of Norwegian and English, written and oral  
 Personal skills 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Good communication, leadership and teamwork skills 
  • Strong work ethic and internal drive to succeed
