Senior Engineer Process

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Senior Engineer Process

Job Description:

• Preliminary and detail process design
• Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
• Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports
• Project work in multi-discipline teams
• Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews etc.
• Discipline lead activities
• Responsible for relevant necessary process and system documentation, such as operation manuals, testing procedures etc.

Education/Experience:

• Masters or bachelor degree in Chemistry or process related Engineering
• More than 5 years’ experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry in Norway
• Must have experience with process simulation tools like PRO II, HYSYS, Pipenet and/or Flarenet
• Must have experience and knowledge of offshore process systems, process control and utility systems
• Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards
• Should preferably have offshore experience and necessary valid offshore safety certificates 

Preferred knowledge/skills:

• Have a cooperative working attitude   
• Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian both orally and writing
• Be systematic and accurate     
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements  
• Have the ability to see multiple design–cases (solution-oriented)
• Contribute to on the job training for oneself and others. Seek relevant information from others in order to complete own tasks
• Basic Safety Training Course, Preferably
