Senior Process Engineer | Stavanger

Work Task:

Preliminary and detail process design

Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment

Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports

Project work in multidiscipline teams

Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews etc.

Discipline lead activities

Responsible for relevant necessary process and system documentation, such as operation manuals, testing procedures

Experience:

More than 5 years’ experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry in Norway

Must have experience with process simulation tools as PRO II, HYSYS, Pipenet and/or Flarenet

Must have experience and knowledge of offshore process systems, process control and utility systems

Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards

Should preferably have offshore experience and necessary valid offshore safety certificates

Have a cooperative working attitude  

Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian both orally and writing

Be systematic and accurate    

Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements 

Can see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)

Contribute to on the job training for oneself and others. Seek relevant information from others to complete own tasks

Basic Safety Training Course, Preferably               

Education:

Masters or bachelor degree in Chemistry or process related Engineering
