Electrical Engineer

Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

• Dimensioning and calculation of electrical networks (High and Low voltage)
• Perform Febdok calculations (preferable)
• Co-ordinate electrical analyses, short circuit calculations with third parties (Goodtech, Unitech)
• Administration of tags in EIS (set up, define control objects, link to activity, data input etc with respect to Provision)
• Produce new and revise existing documentation and drawings in accordance with project document schedule.
• Follow up with vendor documentation
• Prepare Technical Requisitions for electrical and mechanical packages)
• Design and produce layout drawings for Lighting and small power, Cable Ladders, field trays, Trace Heating block diagrams, Trace Heating isometrics, Lighting and small power block diagrams.
• Perform lighting calculations using approved programme.
• Perform Trace heating calculations using approved programme.

Preferred knowledge/skills:

• Participation in FEED studies and EPCIC projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Norsok standards
• Previous experience with Statoil procedures and standards. (Preferable).

Education/Experience:

•  Bachelor Degree or equivalent with at least 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & gas Industry
