Role Description

The Senior Structural Engineer will be part of the Facilities Team and report to Team Lead Facilities and Maintenance Support, Repsol Norge AS (RNAS), based in Stavanger

Responsibilities

The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all activities and technical issues related to Structural comply with RNAS HSE Policy, plans, procedures and regulations.
The position will support assets and projects with technical knowledge and proactively striving for continuous improvement within the structural discipline.

The position will also be responsible for, but not limited to;

• Technical Authority for one or several disciplines
• Lead Auditor and Auditor in audits and verifications
• Technical Expert in investigations
• Document Responsible and Document Reviewer for governing documentation
• Ensure safe and cost effective focus in all work
• Monitor industry developments within Structural and promote technological innovations
• Maintain and develop personal technical expertise and skill-set within Structural discipline

Requirements

Structural Engineer with MSc degree
Familiarity with Norwegian rules and regulations and relevant industry standards (e.g. NORSOK)
Minimum 10 years relevant experience
Ability to learn and make use of typical work related software (MS Office, PIMS, Assai, Workmate, Sharepoint and Synergi)
