Role Description

The Senior Reservoir Engineer will be a part of the Subsurface Team reporting to Manager Subsurface Development, Repsol Norge AS (RNAS), based in Stavanger.

Responsibilities

The Senior Reservoir Engineer will be part of the reservoir management of the assets to optimize the RNAS value. That includes but is not limited to participate in the well planning and drilling of infill wells, develop history-match and maintain reservoir models, provide estimates of production and reserves for short and long term planning. It will also be expected for the Reservoir Engineer to identify new infill targets, evaluate risk, and prepare well proposals and recommendation to management in line with strategy for asset.

Finally, the position should also provide reservoir engineering input to all assets as needed;

• Field depletion strategy
• Topsides modifications
• Well interventions
• Data acquisition

Requirements

• MSc Petroleum Engineering/Reservoir Engineering or Related Studies
• Experienced with Reservoir Simulation & uncertainty. Nodal and well testing analysis. Data Management (OFM), Reserves Management
• Proficient Eclipse/Petrel user, Petex Suite, Kappa Suite
• Ability to learn and make use of Project software (PIMS, Assai, Workmate, Synergi, SharePoint, MS Office)
• Experience from the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Languages: English proficiency level
