Financial Senior Accountant O 17529

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Financial Senior Accountant.

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with IFRS and Company Financial Reporting Guidelines
• Prepare statutory financial statements for Norwegian entities
• Responsible for the project business partner rollout
• Ensure month end closing process is executed smoothly in coordination with Global Shared Services and Regional Hub
• Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and SOA obligations are adhered to
• Monitor key Balance Sheet positions
• Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor qualitatively
• Provide local country training as well as support and guidance to the businesses for the various accounting processes and initiatives
• Participate in regional harmonization initiatives

 Your qualifications: 

• Degree in Accounting/Chartered Accountant or equivalent
• More than 4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
• Fluent English and Norwegian
• Accounting IFRS
• Knowledge of SAP
• Analytical skills
• Understanding and experience with Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX).
