Our Maritime simulation division is a leading maritime simulation system provider with a diverse product portfolio. We seek to strengthen our team with a talented business oriented Finance Manager. The position will report to and work closely with SVP Finance in Kongsberg Digital.

You will be the overall responsible for the global maritime simulation financial unit, and you will be a member of the management team in Maritime Simulation. Your responsibility will include facilitating and supporting the business planning. You will also have an important role in supporting sales on finance related contractual terms, such as payment schedule, currency and business models.

You get enthusiastic when working with budgets and forecast planning, and you support and contribute to continuously improve monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting processes. You will participate in and support large projects, and you will have the opportunity to do a lot of financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.  Optimizing cash flow and collection is also a responsibility that requires your hands-on approach to the business.

To be successful in this role, you have a university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. You have a minimum of five years relevant experience, preferably from controlling, accounting/auditing or finance in a large industrial or international business.  You are experienced in using Hyperion or other ERP systems, and have especially strong Excel skills.

Further, you have demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, and you have a proactive and highly structured approach, with demonstrated strong commitment to deadlines. You have the ability to think strategically, and at the same time, you are operational and service minded, and gets things done. The role has many different contact points in the organization, so it is crucial that you thrive and enjoy working and collaborating with many stakeholders. You are a driving force for improvements and you are solution oriented, with a positive mindset and attitude.
