Senior Process Engineer

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Follow-up of OneSubsea delivered equipment, such as pumps, compressors, meters, swivels and x-mas trees
• Provide technical process related support to Project Managers and Field Engineers
• Challenge today’s technical solutions; be oriented about competing products and technologies, actively taking initiative to participate in further development of the FRIEND remote monitoring service solution and operation of OneSubsea delivered products
• Participate in scope of work descriptions, bid work and commercial support
• Participate in the FRIEND 24/7 on-duty service
• In cooperation with training Coordinator for Services, develop training material and conduct training sessions for Monitoring & Process (M&P) department and the rest of Subsea Services in Bergen 
• Travel on an intermittent basis, both offshore and to Customers and other SLB/OSS sites in Norway and abroad

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree, but Master Degree in Process Engineering preferred
• 5 years’ relevant experience related to subsea production systems
• Competence related to flow assurance and fluid dynamics
• Knowledge of reservoir, PVT calculations and rotating machinery
• Good knowledge of subsea production systems
• Creative and solution oriented with good communication skills
• Able to work effectively both in teams and autonomously
• On an intermittent basis, travel to Customers and other SLB/OSS sites in Norway and abroad
• Analytic approach to technical investigations and troubleshooting
• Knowledge in basic PC applications (MS Office) as well as current ERP systems
• Good English Communication skills (Written & Verbal)

This position reports to Department Manager Monitoring & Process, and is a permanent staff position based at Bergen
