Test Automation Engineer Test Department (KMC 17 - 103)

You will work side by side with software developers and fellow testers developing and implementing new and innovative test automation frameworks. We want to use your skillset in order to ensure the highest quality, performances and compliance to our goals.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsibility for maintenance of framework for automated test development and execution.
• Improve and ensure sustainable architecture of existing and new automated test systems.
• Specify, design, implement and maintain new test automation frameworks.
• Act as technical support resource for test team members.
• Aid in strategic decision-makings toward technical solutions as new test tools, test environments and frameworks.
• Specify, design, implement, execute and maintain automated test scripts.
• Ensure maximum uptime of automated systems.
• Work together with development team(s) and test team(s) to ensure products are delivered with high quality.
• Strive for improvements both in projects as well as in Test department.
• Be a driving force behind bringing test automation to new heights in the department and company.

Qualifications / skills:

      Required:

• Relevant technical degree or higher (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education).
• Knowledge of software and system development processes.
• Experience with programming in JavaScript or Python (high knowledge in other type of programming language can compensate).
• High general understanding of computer system and IT network.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written English.

Desired:

• Experience with testing types, techniques and tools.
• Experience with automated testing of software and system.
• Experience with TFS and Microsoft Test Manager.
• Experience with Test Complete, Squish or Selenium.
• Experience with computer networks.
