Underwriting support - two temporary positions

Norwegian Hull Club seeks candidates for two temporary (12-months) positions in our underwriting department.

Job description

The main task of our underwriting department is to enter into (write) insurance contracts with shipping companies domestically and internationally. You will be a part of an underwriting team in which your main tasks will be registration, handling of documents, control of policies and handling of changes made to the policies during the contract period. The position involves communication with other underwriting teams and departments within the company as well as external communication with brokers and clients. Initiative is valued, and participation in project work may be part of the position.

Desired skills and experience    

You have a university or equivalent degree. You enjoy working independently, but also as a team player. You have a structured mind, are accurate and pay keen attention to details. You are comfortable with handling several tasks simultaneously in a hectic working day. You are skilled in the use of MS Excel and Outlook. You are trustworthy and comfortable with a high level of responsibility.

Very good command of verbal and written English and Norwegian is mandatory.
