GC Rieber Shipping's business within offshore shipping includes ownership in specialized vessels, high quality marine ship management and project development within the segments subsea, renewables, ice/support and marine seismic.
The group has a specialized competence in offshore operations in harsh environments as well as design, development and maritime operation of offshore vessels.
GC Rieber Shipping currently operates and has direct and indirect ownership in 11 advanced special purpose vessels for defined markets within the subsea, ice/support and marine seismic segments.
GC Rieber Shipping is part of the GC Rieber Group who practice a long term active ownership towards a selection of core businesses.

To reflect the company's ambitious strategy by strenghtening the Chartering department, we are seeking the ideal candidate to fulfill the role of Charterer.

Main tasks:

• As a member of the Chartering department be a relevant and contributing team member for all commercial and chartering activities
• Spot and term bids for the fleet
• Follow up and manage existing and future contracts
• P&L responsible for own concluded contracts
• Gather and systematize market intelligence to improve company product offering
• Participate in business development projects as need be

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience from similar position
• Relevant experience within the offshore and/or renewable markets
• Preferably maritime / shipping oriented education within either technical, marine or economical disciplines
• Skilled in maritime spot and terms contracts
• Experienced in commercial modeling, rate and contract
• Established network within the defined markets
• Ability to build and develop new relationships and networks
• Flexible, trustworthy and result driven
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
