Bergans of Norway is looking for experienced pattern maker

We are looking for an experienced Pattern Maker. Bergans is located in Hokksund, one hour away from Oslo. We navigate by our design philosophy, Intelligent Versatility, and we strongly believe that sustainability is a must. The pattern maker is responsible for the fit and the sizes of the apparel products, and aiming for the goal “best on fit”.

Responsibilities

• Block patterns
• • Developing
  • Confectioning
  • Fitting
  • Grading
  • Keep block documents updated

• Style patterns
  • Developing from block pattern
  • Confectioning in-house prototypes
  • Fitting
  • Make measurement chart with correct grading
  • Prepare and send patterns and measurement chart to vendor

General

• Communicating with vendors
• Stay updated on existing styles
• Work independently in Gerber Accumark
• Able to utilize the plotter
• Able to use an industrial sewing machine
• Advanced sewing skills
• Cooperate well with colleagues
• The employee reports to the pattern maker manager
• General computer skills
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Microsoft office
