Engineers for Onshore Drilling Operations

Aziwell AS provides directional drilling services and bore hole survey for the mining and infrastructure industry worldwide. Our products are characterized by the combination of advanced mechanical- and electronic  technology. Aziwell expects a rapid growth of our worldwide drilling operations and we are thus searching for new engineers.  Our goal is to make you a multifunctional engineer to support the company growth that implies you will be trained in all our business segments including; R&D, field services, marketing and sales and eventually management.

You will be working at our office in Trondheim, more precisely Melhus, but you should expect a lot of travelling.

Main tasks:

• You will be trained to operate our R&D test- and calibration rigs
  
• You will be trained to operate our directional core drill, our borehole survey instruments and corresponding software
  
• You will be trained to perform borehole planning by in-house software
  
• You will be trained to work as a drill site manager during directional drilling operations world wide
  
• You will attend client visits and international conferences to promote sales and marketing
  

Your skills:

• We are looking for candidates with good practical- and mechanical skills, preferably with experience from drilling operations
  
• You have a positive attitude, good communication skills and speak- and write English well
  
• You are able to work in harsh environment and have good physical strength
  
• You are able to work under stressful conditions and be problem solver oriented
  

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master  Degree in Engineering or similar education (experience may compensate for lack of formal education)

Having an additional education and/or experience as a mechanic/electro mechanic, is considered as an ideal combination
