IT solutions may range from ERP system to systems supporting our sales processes.

The Group IT Project and Portfolio department has 12 people handling global projects and solutions, including HRMS, Web, Innovation, production support, sales support and data warehouse. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Solution Owner that will lead and manage the operation and development of Jotun's Global Business Intelligence (BI) solutions in close cooperation with the Business units.

Your role is to manage the BI solution area as the Solution Owner to ensure compliance with Jotun Strategy, IT Governance and IT standards, and through this contribute to successful management, utilization and implementation of Global BI solutions. You will also coordinate and manage super-users and content owners in the segments, regions, corporate and local companies and perform training and solution ownership, as well as managing and implementing IT governance related to the Global BI solution area.

Tasks

  • Manage the Global Business Intelligence (BI) solution area as the Solution Owner to ensure compliance with Jotun Strategy, IT Governance and IT standards, and through this contribute to successful management, utilization and implementation of Business Intelligence in Jotun
  • Be the single point of contact when communicating with IT Support functions, vendors and super users
  • Coordinate and manage super-users and content owners in the business segments, regions, corporate and local companies and perform training and solution ownership
  • Manage and governance the data content in close cooperation with Content Managers, to ensure that the solution follow established guidelines for Master Data Management
  • Keep related documentation (technical, user manuals, routine descriptions, update packs, release history, etc.) up to date
  • Lead and supervise the Global Technical BI team. This includes hiring, training, staff development, performance management and annual performance review

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Higher relevant education, preferably within Information technology, Science and/or Business Management
  • Good understanding of business processes and information flows
  • Experience from development and operation of global data warehouse solutions including front end and back end tools, such as Informatica, Power BI, Data Warehouse technology
  • Good communication, presentation and coordination skills, both in Norwegian and English
  • Experience from people and team management
  • Self-driven and goal oriented

  • Administration / Management
  • College / University, Bachelor's degree
  • Information Technology / Computer Science
