Membership and event coordinator
Currently Oslo Cancer Cluster has more than 80 members and is a network organization including Norwegian Universities and University Hospitals, start-up and biotech companies, and the Norwegian branch offices of global pharma and technology companies in the field of cancer R&D. We are looking for a highly motivated person who can maintain and provide benefits to our existing membership program. In addition, the person will also be responsible for planning and coordination of Oslo Cancer Cluster events such as R&D Network meetings and Cancer Crosslinks. The Membership and Event coordinator will report directly to the General Manager of OCC.
Key tasks:
Membership:
- Maintain and increase the value of the membership package to all OCC members
- Identify the members needs of services and follow-up program
- Set goals and objectives for the membership program
- Provide administrative support to all members of OCC
- Orchestrate events and external meetings by collaborating with stakeholders, speakers, members, sponsors and participants, including budget responsibility
- Ensure event/meeting content are of high quality and results measured
- Coordinating logistics and assist with special projects, and other duties assigned
- Relevant higher education and job experience; scientific background is a benefit
- Self-driven, structured and result oriented
- Curious and service minded
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Norwegian
