Responsibilities
- Lead, organize and coordinate technical activities related to Structural, Piping and Mechanical disciplines for of the project production system from well to export during the Select phase. (Engineering, construction planning, installation & operation)
- Setting up & managing the Scope of Work and associated plans for Structural, Piping and Mechanical disciplines activities
- Ensure all project deliveries are carried out in accordance with NORSOK specifications, Norwegian regulations and other defined practices and management system
- Follow up Structural, Piping and Mechanical disciplines activities with selected Engineering contractors
- Secure interfaces towards other areas/contractors are addressed properly and managed in the PIMS interface register
- Prepare Governing documents related to Project Structural, Piping and Mechanical disciplines activities
- Contribute in establishing budgets and plans and report work activities accordingly
Required expertise
- Master of Science Degree
- Minimum 10 years project experience from different phases, preferably minimum 4 years from oil company.
- Particular focus on concept development stage.
- Relevant professional experience: Competency in offshore Conceptual Engineering execution.
- In depth competency in one of the disciplines Structural, Piping and Mechanical disciplines, with good knowledge for early stage development within the other disciplines, for the entire oil and gas production system.
- In depth knowledge of the contractor and supply market for Subsea and Floating Production, and proven liason with contractors and suppliers from previous projects.
- In depth knowledge of provisions set by PSA and other applicable Norwegian authority provisions and requirements.
- Excellent inter-personal, analytical and problem solving skills
- Considerable expertise in all aspects of offshore production and operations
- Strong communication skills - oral and written - English and preferably Norwegian
- Ability to engage effectively with both internal & external stakeholders
- Self-driven, positive and committed attitude, highly organised and resilient
- Ability to both lead and work well in a team
- Computer skills
