Operations Technology (OTE) in DPN provide technical operations support across operating regions in DPN and into the new field developments on the Norwegian shelf. OTE contribute to safe, effective and sustainable operation, maintenance, modifications and decommissioning of installations. We contribute heavily in shaping the future of energy and realizing the potential on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). Technical Integrity (TI) maintain the overall technical integrity of installations, subsea facilities and internal field pipelines in DPN. Plant Integrity's main focus is on safe, reliable and efficient operation & maintenance. The engineers in TI are organized in a technical competence unit responsible for continuous improvement and for developing and managing technical expertise across systems and tasks. Working in the competence unit, you may be exposed to many different and exciting technical tasks within operation, maintenance and/or modification projects.

The department Mechanical Technology South(MTS) within the sector Technical Competence South (TCS ) are looking for a candidate in Stavanger office within Inspection and Material technology with the following responsibility and tasks:


• Material support in modification projects and technical integrity evaluation
• Technical support to the operations group onshore / offshore on a day to day basis as well as during times of operational disruptions
• Planning and closely follow-up execution of preventive inspection for static process equipment and load-bearing structures
• Risk based inspection programmes in accordance to TR1987
• Contribute to improve corrosion management through inspection reporting on platform system basis
• Efficient management of inspection contractors
• Contribute to evaluations of findings

 

Competence Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree with relevant experience from inspection or material technology.
• Good technical understanding
• SAP knowledge
• Good knowledge of current standards and regulatory requirements
• 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred
• Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualification

 

Work Place: Stavanger

Contract Period: 01.08.17 - 31.08.18 (Option Period: 2x6 Months)
