I joined Shearwater and the seismic industry in January 2019. My career in Shearwater has allowed me to see different parts of the world and meet new people and cultures. Along the way, I’ve been exposed to various challenges. One of the experiences I find most rewarding in Shearwater, is that I can see how our work as HR professionals enables employees and the overall organization to reach company objectives and performance.

I joined as a processing Team Leader in 2013 from another geophysical contractor. Today, at Shearwater, in the same way, I try to make new staff feel part of the team and I like to help grow their confidence. In my work I bring together the focus values, the technical competency framework and the improvements on how we process data. I enjoy the variety of work and how my work interacts with so many different parts of the business.

I have been working with several MNCs in earlier part of my career, specialized in factory automation. Joining this organization has however provided me multi-dimensional exposure, from being manufacturing engineer, to safety committee leader and my current role is maintenance engineer, to facilitate smooth production run. Nevertheless, it has been a lot of fun because of the people-oriented culture & positive working environment in Shearwater has made it easy.
