Senior UX Designer

EG Construction consists of a strong product management team with over 450+ colleagues across Denmark, Norway, and Finland. We combine deep industry knowledge with ambitions to digitalize, optimize, and reduce the CO2 footprint of construction projects. Your tasks: Research, Design, and Deliver
As a Senior UX Designer at EG Construction, you will lead user research and discovery with your agile product team - translating insights into design solutions that create value for both users and the business. Taking ownership of the full design process, from concept to implementation, you will bring your analytical mindset to complex challenges. As EG Construction's first dedicated UX Designer, this is a unique opportunity to shape how we work with UX going forward, together with our UX Manager.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (e.g., user interviews, field studies, user tests, etc).

• Facilitate workshops with product teams, customers and stakeholders.

• Identify user needs and translate them into solutions.

• Structure and simplify user flows.

• Design concepts and prototypes across user journeys.

• Contribute to creating value through strong user experiences.

You are the ideal candidate if you
Have 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably from construction, maritime, logistics, or finance, and hold a bachelor's or master's degree in design (product, service, interaction, or UX). You are structured, curious, and proactive - passionate about creating great user experiences and translating research findings into prototypes. You communicate confidently in both Norwegian and English and enjoy presenting concepts and insights to stakeholders. Above all, you thrive when working with complex problems and have a genuine passion for simplification.

You have experience with:

• Figma, Miro, Claude and other tools.

• UX methodologies such as interviews, observations, user journeys, concept development, testing, and prototyping.

• Product analysis tools like Hotjar or similar.

• Trends in digitization (UX, UI, and AI).

• Accessibility and WCAG requirements.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Design for mobile apps.

• Design of tables, filtering and forms.

• Calculation and project tools.

Location: This position can be based in Tønsberg, Norway or Ballerup, Denmark. We are in the office 3 times a week and there is the option to work from home 2 times per week. Please note that travel activities may occur.
