Attorney-at-Law/Lawyer/Senior Risk Advisor

Are you a strong insurance legal professional? We are looking for a committed and business-oriented legally trained individual to join our Nordic Contract & Claims team.

The office location for this role is in Oslo.

The team reviews commercial contracts for our Nordic clients, making sure the balance of risk, indemnity and insurance is a good fit for the deal at hand. Furthermore, we provide expert advice and strategy in complex and high value claims.

We collaborate closely with our Client Leader and Broker colleagues to align each client’s insurance program with the risk profile we observe in our day-to-day work.

What the day will look like

As a member of our team, you will:

• Review and amend commercial contracts, focusing on risk allocation, indemnity and insurance
• Provide guidance and resolve strategy on high value and complex claims within all non-marine insurance products
• Advise clients and internal stakeholders on general insurance practice, -law and liability related topics
• Host external trainings and workshops
• Contribute to internal know-how and best practices
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Nordics and beyond

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We believe you have:

• A master’s degree in law
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Norwegian/Swedish/Danish
• Preferably at least 5+ years of relevant experience, for example from:
  - Insurance law or Business Law
  - Contract Management
  - Insurance Broking
  - Underwriting
  - International Claims
• Ability to balance legal precision with commercial and practical considerations
• A proactive, structured and collaborative working style
