Senior Technical Specialist - Casing Barrier Solutions (CBS)

We are looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to join our growing Casing Barrier Solutions (CBS) team and play a key role in the deployment of the Interwell Casing Plug (IWCP) – a retrievable barrier plug (RBP) with market-leading specifications.
 
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, but even more importantly, wants to help build something. As part of a growing business area, you will be at the forefront of introducing IWCP to customers in Norway and around the world.
You will plan, prepare, train, and support installations, working closely with customers and operations teams to ensure successful deployments both onshore and offshore.

Main activities & Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare CBS operations, including equipment, procedures and documentation

• Support customers throughout the installation phase, both offshore and onshore

• Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support during project execution

• Collaborate with the Sales team in promoting and presenting CBS solutions

• Prepare installation documentation, job reports and technical drawings

• Ensure accurate reporting and follow-up of operational experience and non-conformances

• Support training activities and implementation of CBS products across global regions

• Provide operational support to field personnel, supervisors and operations management

• Assist in workshop activities when required

Requirements:

• Technical college degree or equivalent education.

• Relevant field experience within open hole, cased hole, and/or fishing operations.

• Solid knowledge of downhole tools.

• Ability to adapt to new challenges and willingness to travel.

• A proactive mindset and interest in joining a growing department.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
