Professional Sales Representative to Sunstar GUM, Norway

Summary of Position:

The GUM brand is one of the leading names in oral care globally. In Norway, however, our journey has only recently begun. As a Sales Representative for Norway, you will play an important role in developing the Norwegian dental market and taking both the market and the GUM brand to the next level. If you are passionate about making a positive difference to people’s wellbeing, this could be the role for you.

In your daily work, you will support our professional wholesalers (dental depots) by driving sales to dental clinics and maintaining strong business relationships with professional customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our business model - professional recommendation, pharmacy sales and satisfied consumers - works effectively in Norway. You will visit both dental clinics and pharmacies to strengthen recommendations and sales. You will be a part of our Nordic team and will frequently exchange experience and knowledge with both Norwegian, Swedish and Danish colleagues. This is a field-based role that requires regular day-to-day travel. You will work from home, and your territory covers all of Norway, with a clear priority on the major urban areas.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers in dental clinics, acting as the link between clinics, dental depots and pharmacies.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy staff to support recommendation and sales.

  • Generate sales & business growth supporting the customers and business partners.

  • Visit dental clinics, pharmacies and universities to sell, present, demonstrate and educate others about the GUM brand.

  • Participate in trade shows and conventions as required.

  • Attend and contribute to team and company meetings to stay up to date on relevant information.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned in line with the development of the business.

About You:

  • Enthusiastic about providing excellent support & service, always focused on customer

  • A people person with the ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships based on trust and respect.

  • Result-driven self-starter and can-do mentality.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to turn opportunities into sales.

  • Comfortable with business travel, including both day trips and overnight stays (approximately 4-5 nights per month).

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience required.

  • Dental industry experience as well as dental background is a plus, not a must.

  • Strong presentation skills and language proficiency; excellent Norwegian and English language skills are required.

  • Motivated to continuously learn, grow and develop professionally.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong self-motivation, resourcefulness and drive.

  • The candidate should be based in the Oslo area and hold a valid driver’s license.
