Project Cost Controller

Due to increased project activity, we are strengthening our Norway Project Cost Control Team and are looking for talented Project Cost Controllers to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to contribute to key projects.

In this position, you will be a key contributor to project success ensuring accurate, timely, and value-added financial insights that keep our projects on track and performing at their best. 

As a Project Cost Controller, you will take ownership of cost performance monitoring and reporting, enabling informed decision-making and strong financial outcomes. From budget setup to forecasting and risk management, your expertise will help shape the future of our projects and ensure operational excellence. 

Your Key Responsibilities 

• Own the numbers: Take full responsibility for cost control in your project - from initial budget setup to ongoing monitoring and forecasting. 

• Drive collaboration: Work closely with project teams to deliver actionable insights that boost performance. 

• Lead change: Manage cost related change processes, variation estimates, and risk contingencies. 

• Deliver clarity: Prepare accurate monthly reports, client cost packages, and short- and long-term cash flow forecasts. 

• Be the financial partner: Support project management with economic analysis and resolve accounting related challenges. 

• Add value to decisions: Participate in variation order estimations and assess their impact to guide project outcomes. 

• Finalize with excellence: Ensure smooth project close-out with complete and accurate documentation.

What We Want From You: 

• A university-level degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or Accounting. 

• Hands-on experience in cost control within offshore or subsea projects. 

• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency of cost control systems; experience with S/4HANA and EcoSys is an advantage. 

• Advanced Excel skills. 

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities. 

• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership and independence.
