As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Cost Manager - Estimating & Measurement in Bergen.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Estimating, weight and cost reporting in an M&M project.

• Follow up and report to client.

• Establish Target sum, evaluate Cost estimate, client budget follow-up and client forecasting

• Collect Experience Figures, Deviation analysis (Estimate vs. as-built figures), Financial task close out.

• Assist task lead in commercial matters in M&M projects such as Change Control

 
We think you should have:

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree, or higher technical or business education

• An interest in methods and working processes applied in multidisciplinary project work

• Proficiency in Excel and other web-based tools

• A proactive, problem-solving approach with a positive attitude and strategic thinking skills

• Experience from similar work is an advantage

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with a systematic and detail-oriented approach

• Fluency in Norwegian, both written and spoken
