Electrical Power Engineer at OneSubsea - Shaping the Future of Subsea Technology

We are now looking for an Electrical Power Engineer to join our sites in Bergen, Horsøy. You will play a key role in the development and testing of high-voltage infrastructure, subsea pumps, compressors, transformers, and subsea power systems. 

You will join a development department of 23 innovative thinkers who are passionate about pushing boundaries and creating cutting-edge solutions. Here, you won’t just follow standards you’ll help define them while contributing to new technologies and improving existing systems. Our team is diverse, hands-on, and collaborative, with close involvement in our workshop and in-house testing. We are looking for an engineer with a good balance of theory and practice, strong analytical skills, and a foundation in complex calculations, who is motivated to apply this knowledge to real‑world challenges. 

In this role, you will

• Lead the design and construction of power systems and key components, including MV penetrators, wet-mateable connectors, subsea/topside systems, umbilical simulators, and VFD components

• Plan, lead, and follow up on system testing for electrical equipment

• Coordinate with suppliers and customers throughout project execution

• Execute and manage internal and customer test programs (FAT, EFAT, SIT, SOT)

• Champion strong HSE and quality standards throughout assembly, testing, and operations particularly for high/low voltage, high-pressure systems, and rotating equipment

• Uphold company policies on HSE, quality, and ethics in all activities
