We are now looking for an Mechanical Engineer to join our development department in Bergen, Horsøy.  

Our development department consists of 23 innovative thinkers who are passionate about pushing boundaries and creating cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you won’t just follow standards you’ll help define them. Working at the forefront of subsea equipment development, you’ll contribute to developing new technologies, improving existing systems, and driving real innovation across our solutions. 

Our team is diverse, hands-on, and collaborative, with close involvement in our workshop and in-house testing. We are looking for an experienced engineer who has a solid engineering background and a strong interest in design, particularly within 3D modelling, technical drawings, and piping systems. 

In this role, you will

• Help build and shape cutting-edge test infrastructure at OneSubsea Processing

• Design and optimize piping systems and process equipment using 3D CAD (we use Creo Elements)

• Develop and validate test components that push performance limits

• Create clear, high-quality process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, schematics)

• Plan and lead system testing for rotating equipment

• Drive execution of internal and customer test programs (SIT, FAT)

• Be the go-to technical support for contractors and teams during build and testing

• Champion a strong HSE culture in everything you do

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, Subsea Engineering, or a related discipline

• Brings 5+ years of relevant experience with strong technical expertise

• Has solid experience in 3D modelling, with a clear motivation to further develop in this area

• Demonstrates a strong interest in mechanics and problem-solving

• Is self-driven, positive, and thrives in a collaborative team environment

• Communicates clearly and takes a proactive approach to delivering results
