Are you HMH's new Network Engineer who will design and implement our secure network solutions?
We are looking for a Network Engineer to strengthen our team within secure network infrastructure and industrial technology.Join us in our quest to solve tomorrow’s challenges and innovate our future.
What will you be doing in this role?As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, securing, and improving network infrastructure solutions for industrial and operational technology environments. You will contribute to the development of robust, secure, and efficient network platforms that support HMH’s products and services.
In this role, you will:
Focus on secure solutions for network infrastructure design and modifications
Work with IP-based communication
Administer VLANs, IPv4, switching/routing, firewall frameworks, NAT, and QoS
Utilize knowledge of Check Point firewalls
Work with Cisco ASA and Cisco switches
Design and support industrial network topology based on the Purdue model
Apply and support compliance with the IEC 62443 framework for cybersecurity in industrial automation and control systems
Establish and document products and services within secure network infrastructure
Conduct and support cybersecurity risk assessments
Act as a driver for continuous improvement
Develop work processes and incorporate these into HMH’s delivery model
We are looking for someone who is motivated by building secure, reliable, and efficient network infrastructure solutions in industrial environments. We also think it is important that you have the following qualifications:
Experience with secure network design
Strong knowledge of IP routing
Practical experience with network components configuration
Knowledge of Cisco switching technologies
Familiarity with industrial network topology based on the Purdue model
Understanding of the IEC 62443 framework
Ability to establish and document products, services, and work processes clearly and effectively
Experience contributing to or performing cybersecurity risk assessments
A proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, and quality
