Help build the physical backbone of Circle K’s EV charging network

As Energy Solutions Manager, you will drive the commercialization and scaling of our energy and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) capabilities across Europe, transforming technical potential into profitable, repeatable business value.  

Circle K is accelerating the transition to electric mobility, with energy becoming a critical commercial lever across our business. We are already a leading Charge Point Operator, leveraging batteries and smart energy solutions to scale our charging network, mitigate energy and grid-related risks, and unlock new revenue streams through flexibility markets and grid services. 

We are now looking for a commercially driven and strategic profile to build on this foundation; increasing scalability, standardization, and profitability across our European energy solutions portfolio. 

You’ll join the Charging Infrastructure team in Circle K eMobility and work closely with European markets, commercial stakeholders, and partners to develop business cases, optimize performance, and monetize flexibility from our BESS assets. 

What you will do 

• Develop and scale energy and battery concepts with a clear focus on revenue and asset profitability 

• Identify, quantify, and optimize battery value streams such as flexibility trading, congestion management, peak‑shaving, and energy price optimization 

• Drive BESS and EMS performance to improve financial and operational outcomes 

• Build business cases and support investment decisions across European markets 

• Own the development of standards, playbooks, and training to help markets capture battery value at scale 

• Align stakeholders around clear value propositions, KPIs, and commercial priorities 

What you bring 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields 

• Commercial mindset 

• Strong ability to translate energy, regulatory, and technical complexity into commercial solutions 

• Interest in energy markets, flexibility, and asset monetization 

• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data and business cases 

• Structured, proactive, and outcome‑oriented 

• Fluent in English
