 About the role

We are looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our international QA & Test team in Stavanger. You will work across a modern and diverse tech landscape — from desktop and mobile to cloud and web — with plenty of opportunity to grow your skills and shape how we work with test automation.  
This is a role where you can influence, collaborate, and continuously develop — both yourself and how we build sustainability and quality into our products.  

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain and execute manual test suites 

• Design, build, and maintain test automation solutions  

• Investigate, report, and manage defects 

• Contribute to test strategy and implement best practices in test automation  

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and test engineers  

• Support and coach teams in adopting automation approaches  

• Investigate issues, understand root causes, and improve dev/test process and product quality 

About you
You enjoy working with others and are motivated by solving problems. You are curious, structured in your approach, and happy to share knowledge.  
We believe you bring:

• Bachelor's degree within Computer Science or similar field of study 

• You have experience from test automation or software development and a genuine interest in building quality into products from the start 

• You are excited by test frameworks, CI/CD, and smarter ways of improving how teams build software 

• You are comfortable working with test automation across a varied tech landscape, including .NET, web, and mobile solutions 

• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
