Material Coordinator

We are looking for a structured and proactive team member to support our warehouse and logistics operations. As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing daily forklift operations, including loading and unloading of delivery trucks, as well as internal movement of goods and equipment.
You will play an important part in maintaining accurate inventory control and ensuring that warehouse and yard areas are safe, organized, and operating efficiently. The position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across operational teams.

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

• Load and unload deliveries from trucks and distribute goods to relevant departments.

• Transfer of equipment and goods between internal departments.

• Operate various forklifts to handle materials, equipment, and inventory safely and efficiently.

• Perform preventive maintenance and daily checks of forklifts and relevant handling equipment.

• Maintain inventory control in the yard area, including baskets, load carriers, and other storage units, and perform periodic inventory counts.

• Perform waste management activities in accordance with internal procedures.

• Operate the switchboard and support yard security and access control in cooperation with the yard supervisor.

• Support relevant operational tasks within warehouse and logistics as needed and based on business requirements. This may include assisting with driver arrivals and goods receiving, unpacking of goods, packaging, and preparation of goods for transport

What we are looking for:

• Experience from logistics, warehouse, yard operations, or similar practical/technical environments. Relevant trade certification is considered an advantage.

• Driver’s license class B.

• Forklift certificates T1, T2, T4 and T5 are preferred. Experience with overhead crane (G4), forklift T6 and T8 is also an advantage, but necessary training will be provided.

• Good English skills, both spoken and written.

• Able to work independently, stay structured, and maintain a strong focus on safety in a busy operational environment.

• Good understanding of warehouse routines, inventory management, and material handling processes.

• Police certificate of conduct is a requirement for the position.
