We are seeking a caring, resilient, and skilled teacher to work with children who require additional behavioral and emotional support in the school environment.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with students, create a safe and structured learning environment, and collaborate closely with colleagues, and support services to help each child succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver adapted teaching and learning activities

Support students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges

Establish clear routines, structure, and positive behavior support strategies

Build trusting relationships with students and caregivers

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and school staff

Contribute to an inclusive and supportive school culture

Monitor student progress and maintain relevant documentation
Qualifications

Approved teaching qualification
-
Experience working with children with social and emotional needs is an advantage

Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills

Patient, flexible, and solution-oriented approach

Salary and benefits
The position is paid as a teacher according to the latest Hovedtariffoppgjøret (KS). The person hired will normally be paid from 563.600 - 799.200 NOK per year (for a full time position) depending on qualifications and seniority.
A 2% contribution to the Pension Fund is deducted from the salary.
